Volunteer
Opportunities
School
Year
During
the
school year, local high school and college students
can volunteer their time and tutor with LVS. We are currently
looking for volunteer tutors to work with our 90 students.
Tutors meet with their students one or more days a week after
school to work on homework, study skills, enrichment activities,
and community service projects.
The
after school tutoring sites are held at one of our seven
partner schools throughout the Lehigh Valley. Click

Lehigh
University students can receive work study funds for
participation. For more information contact Lehigh
University's Community Outreach program.
Moravian
College students can receive class credit and/or work
study funds for for participation. Contact the Department
of Education's Field Coordinator for more information at
610-861-1473 for information about class credit. Contact
the community service coordinator, Phyllis Walsh, at
610-861-1602.
High school students
can receive community service hours for participation.
Contact your guidance counselor for information regarding
eligibility requirements.
Summer
During the summer, high school
and college students can volunteer one or more days a week in our
program. Activities throughout the summer vary form general office
work to assisting in a classroom.If you are interested
