During the
school year, local high
school and college students volunteer one or more afternoons a week
to tutor with LVS students at their schools. Together they
complete homework, study for tests and work on projects.
In addition,
each school completes an enrichment activity.
Students also
participate in monthly
field trips including a hayride, laser tag, bowling, ice skating,
hiking, the movies, and a visit to a local college.
